Back to the Classics Challenge 2013

I’m also joining the Back to the Classics Challenge again this year, as I really enjoyed the 2012 challenge. There are six required categories and five optional categories. My list may change, but here are my tentative choices.

Required:

  3. A Pre-18th or 18th Century ClassicMuch Ado About Nothing by William Shakespeare

  5. A Classic AdventureThe Adventures of Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain
  6. A Classic that prominently features an AnimalAnimal Farm by George Orwell

Optional:

  1. Re-read a ClassicFrankenstein by Mary Shelley
  2. A Russian ClassicCrime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky
  3. A Classic Non-Fiction titleWalden by Henry David Thoreau
  4. A Classic Children’s/Young Adult titleThe Adventures of Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll
  5. Classic Short StoriesThe Adventures of Sherlock Holmes by Arthur Conan Doyle
