That’s Not Helium
A while back, I posted Meet Karl Pilkington, a video extra on Ricky Gervais’ live comedy DVD. Pilkington joins Gervais and Stephen Merchant on their hilarious podcast. He comes across as an ignorant simpleton, and he most likely is, but the results are a riot when he lets his mind wander.
I was excited to find that he now has a weblog. Here’s a short excerpt of his from a few days ago:
The other night, even though my body was knackered, my brain lay there thinking about death. I thought how it would be a good idea to capture a dying relatives final few breaths by getting them to blow up a balloon. This would give you something to keep that belonged to the one that has passed away, plus having balloons around would lighten the mood. That’s unless you have globophobia. (fear of balloons)
He’s somehow both moronic and brilliant, all at once.
